- Adjectives (tính từ) : là từ để miêu tả tính chất ,trạng thái của người,vật ,hoặc sự việc.
Vị trí : - Đứng sau các động từ liên kết (be ,look ,seem,smell,taste,feel ,become,appear...)
để bổ nghĩa cho chủ từ
Ex: I'm tall.She looks nice.
- Đứng trước danh từ để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đó.
Ex: He's a good man. It's an interesting book.
- Averbs (trạng từ) :là từ để diễn đạt cách thức,mức độ,thời gian ,nơi chốn...
Trạng từ bổ nghĩa cho động từ,tính từ hoăc một trạng từ khác
- Trạng từ thể cách (Aderbs of manner) : mô tả cách sự việc xẩy ra hoặc làm như thế nào.
Vị trí : Trạng từ thể cách thường đứng cuối câu
Cách thành lập : _ Thêm -ly vào sau tính từ. adj +ly = adv
- Tính từ tận cùng = ful thêm ly ( skillful => skillfully)
-Tính từ tận cùng = p.â +y đổi thành i+ly ( happy => happily)
- Tính từ tận cùng = p.â +le đổi thành ly ( simple => simply)
- Tính từ tận cùng = ic thì thêm ally (magic => magically)
